Bless this community

 

This year I have been blessed with the most terrific experience in my life. Every year at my school, the varsity teams in soccer, basketball and volleyball get to participate in this international tournament called WAISAL. We travel as teams and face off with other schools to compete for a banner.

 

This year I was fortunate enough to be part of the Volleyball team and God what a crazy season this has been. We went through the toughest practice together, faced 20 year olds together and because of that, we were basically family.

The community that was built through this tough moments was unbreakable. We spent our entire trip having fun and singing. Even if we lost in the finals, we got awarded with a second award for our sportsmanship.

 

I honestly  will never forget this tournament and will forever be thankful for the group of individuals we were.
